for our physics of sports video we did the physics of a basketball layup. At first deciding our sport was very hard, because we all had so many different ideas. we knew we needed a sport where we could get the most equations. After a few minutes of going back and fourth on sports we decided on basketball. we started our project by videotaping Ethan doing a layup from each angle and examining all the motions. after that we started choosing what equations we would find and what order our iMovie would be. we realized we did the equations wrong and had to redo almost all. we had to change them from f=mt (force= mass times velocity) to ft=mv (force times time = mass times velocity)
the formulas we used.

Over all i think our end result was very well done. I learned a lot about working with my group and much more with film making. When we started i had absolutely no clue how to do any film making or editing. By the end i had learned a little more about film editing, voice overs and how to find different physics about sports. One thing that didn't go very well was that it was hard to all put in an even amount of work because kate wanted to work on it at home but it was all on her computer. If i could change one this is i would probably make our video shorter because the physics is a little over whelming at times. I think the worst thing that happened the whole time was when our video corrupted and we had to redo the whole thing.
